Established in the 1970s, China Gansu International Corporation for Economic and Technical Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as“CGICO”) is a diversified multinational company integrated with international engineering contracting, import and export trading, real estate development, economic and technical cooperation as well as labor service cooperation with the first-grade qualification of housing project construction, decoration engineering and class A qualification for constructing China aided projects of the Ministry of Commerce of China. 

CGICO has been named for the first time the top 250 international contractors by Engineering NewsRecord (ENR) in 2014 and is ranked 204. The company is awarded Quality Management System certificates for compliance with the standard ISO9001:2008， GB/T28001:2001，ISO14001:2004. It is one of the earliest, largest and most creditworthy companies in foreign project contracting, economic and technical cooperation in China.

Since 1978, the company has carried out business in more than 40 countries and regions in Asia, Africa and Oceania in connection with economic aid, project contracting, technical and labor cooperation and trade, and built a large number of high quality projects with international influence.

LLC "CGICOP-Bel" is a Belarusian subsidiary company of Gansu Construction Investment (Holding) Group Corporation and  the first representative office of the corporation in Europe. Belarusian branch engages in investing in the construction, increasing the number of projects in BT/ PPP  and the projects under  China and Belarus preferential cooperation program. The Belarusian subsidiary company  also actively develops trade relations, recruitment services and cultural tourism between China and Belarus. 

International construction contracts is one of the priority directions of the company's business activities.
